Established in 1823 Bicton is currently an eighth generation Gatenby property since European settlement.
The majority of the property is native forest that neighbours the Western Tiers of Tasmania. The native forest is complimented with river flats and undulating hills of pasture that 5000 merino ewes graze and lamb down on.
The property also produces under fixed pivot irrigation cereal and oil seed crops for local commodity markets.
